§ 9. Cookies

9.1    Cookies, purpose and relevance

We use cookies to collect information about you, which is used to customize and improve our content and to increase the value of the advertisements displayed on the site.

If you do not want information to be collected, you should delete your cookies (see the instructions under point 9.2) and refrain from further use of the website. Below we have elaborated on which information is collected, its purpose and which third parties have access to it.

 

9.2    What are cookies?

The website uses "cookies", which are text files that are saved on your computer, mobile etc. accordingly for the purpose of recognizing it, remembering settings, performing statistics and targeting ads. Cookies cannot contain harmful code such ase.g virus.

9.31    First-party cookies

We have allowed third parties to set cookies from the website (so-called third-party cookies).

We use marketing and optimization cookies to get an optimal operation of our website. This applies, among other things, to Google Analytics, which we use to analyze how you use our website. The collected information is sent and stored on Google's servers.

 

10.The data subject's rights

10.1    You have the right to access your personal data

You have the right to be informed at any time which personal data we process about you, where it comes from and what we use it for. You can also be informed how long we store your personal data and who receives personal data about you, to the extent that we pass on personal data in Denmark and/or abroad.

If you request this, we can inform you about, and hand over a copy of, the information we process about you. However, access may be restricted for reasons of privacy protection, trade secrets and intellectual property rights of others.

10.2    You have the right to have inaccurate personal data corrected, limited or deleted

If the personal data we process about you is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected or restricted. You must contact us and inform us of what the inaccuracies consist of and how they can be corrected or must be limited.

In some cases, we will have an obligation to delete your personal data. This may apply, for example, if you withdraw your consent. If you believe that your personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which we obtained it, you can ask to have it deleted. You can also contact us if you believe that your personal data is being processed in violation of the law or other legal obligations.

When you contact us with a request to have your personal data corrected, restricted or deleted, we investigate whether the conditions are met and, if so, carry out changes or deletion as soon as possible.

 

10.3    You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data

You have the right, due to your particular situation, to object to our processing of your personal data. You can also object to our passing on your personal data for marketing purposes. You can use the contact information at the top to send an objection. If your objection is justified, we will make sure to stop processing your personal data.

 

10.4    The right to data portability

You may have the right to data portability to the extent that the processing is done automatically. Data portability means a right to receive in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format personal information about yourself that you have provided to us, and you have the right to transmit this information to another data controller without hindrance.

 

10.5    Complaint

If you want to complain about our processing of your personal data, including that we have not complied with your request according to section 9.1-9.4, you also have the option of contacting the Data Protection Authority at dt@datatilsynet.dk.
